🔄 New Game Plus Guide

All party members retain their level, HP, SP, and base stats from the completed save.

All unlocked nodes on every character's Soul Board remain. New NG+ exclusive nodes become available if you have the Onmyoji Crest.

All weapons, armor, and accessories are retained. Legendary weapons acquired in the first playthrough can be used from the start.

All talismans carry over. Combined with NG+ exclusive talismans, this enables powerful endgame builds from Chapter 1.

Your accumulated AP balance transfers. You can immediately purchase top-tier equipment from vendors in Shijo-dori.

All collected records, artwork, and gallery unlocks persist.

All costume and hairstyle unlocks are available from the equipment menu from the start.

Trophy/achievement progress is cumulative across playthroughs.

Story Progress

All chapters reset to Prologue. Cutscenes can be skipped.

Quest Items

Key items, keys, and plot-critical objects are removed.

NPC Relationship Levels

All FP (Friendship Point) values reset. You must re-build relationships to unlock personal quests again.

Side Quest Progress

All optional quests reset. NG+ offers some new side quests with exclusive rewards.

Map Exploration

District and labyrinth maps are fogged again.

Memory Shard Collection

All shards are reset. Collecting them again in NG+ yields higher-tier rewards instead of duplicates.

Onmyoji Crest — Hidden Soul Board Nodes

The Onmyoji Crest is awarded upon completing the True Ending. In NG+, it unlocks a secret 4th branch on every character's Soul Board: the 'Path of Transcendence'. This branch contains nodes that push stats beyond the normal cap, unlock unique combo finishers, and grant passive auras that affect the entire party.

NG+ Exclusive Boss: 'True Form — Yamata-no-Orochi'

After collecting all 51 Memory Shards in NG+ and clearing all Memory Bosses (including The Primordial One from the first playthrough), a new portal opens in Layer 5. This boss is the hardest encounter in the game — 8 phases, each corresponding to one head of the Orochi, each with a different elemental affinity. Defeating it drops the 'Divine Regalia' accessory set.

NG+ Exclusive Outfits

Each character gains one premium costume in NG+ that cannot be obtained in the first playthrough. These are unlocked by completing each character's personal questline again in NG+ (with higher difficulty thresholds).

Enhanced Phantom Poison Difficulty

In NG+, the Phantom Poison gauge fills 50% faster, and Phantom Mist Bottles restore 30% less. Management becomes critical — the Sakura Pendant from Rurui's quest becomes nearly mandatory for extended exploration.

Class Card Exam — Hell Mode

The midterm and final exams feature entirely new question sets with trick answers. Scoring above 95/100 on the NG+ final exam unlocks the 'True Scholar' trophy and a unique accessory.
